Cookie policy

What the site and the app store in your browser, and what other services see when you visit.

Last updated: 3 October 2026
In short

The page in three cards

Strictly necessary only

A sign-in session cookie and Cloudflare security cookies. No advertising cookies.

Theme on your device

Your light or dark choice stays in your browser and is never sent to us.

Fonts and delivery

Google Fonts serves the fonts; Cloudflare delivers and protects the site.

What this policy covers

This policy explains what BacklinkReach stores in your browser, and what other services see when you visit backlinkreach.com or use the app. BacklinkReach is operated by Media Experts LLC, a limited liability company organised in New Mexico, United States ("we", "us"). How we handle personal data in general is set out in our privacy policy.

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to keep and send back on later visits. Local storage is a similar store in your browser that a page can read, but that is not sent with each request.

What we store and why

The public pages work without any cookie of ours. The only thing they remember is your choice of theme, which sits in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.

When you sign in, the app sets one session cookie so that you stay signed in while you move between screens. Without it the app cannot know who you are, so it is strictly necessary and cannot be switched off while you use the app. It ends when you sign out, or after a period of inactivity.

The list

Web AnalyticsCloudflare Web Analytics, where it runs, counts page views and load times with a small script. It stores nothing on your device.Analytics without cookiesNo cookie is set

Cloudflare decides when to set its two security cookies, depending on the traffic it sees. They hold no profile of you and are not used for advertising.

Fonts and the network that delivers the site

The site's fonts load from Google Fonts. Your browser asks Google's servers for the font files, and Google receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request, as it would for any file.

Cloudflare delivers the site and protects it from abusive traffic, so every request passes through its network. Where Cloudflare Web Analytics runs, it counts visits without cookies and without following you to other sites.

What we do not use

  • No advertising cookies, and no advertising networks.
  • No third-party analytics cookies, and no tracking of you across other websites.
  • No social media buttons or embeds that set cookies of their own.

Because the only cookies are strictly necessary, the site does not show a cookie banner. If we ever add a cookie that needs your consent, we will ask for it before it is set and update this page first.

How to control cookies

Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies and local storage, usually under its privacy or site settings. You can clear the theme choice at any time; the site then follows your device's setting.

If you block all cookies, the public pages and the free tools still work. Signing in to the app will not, because the session cookie is needed to keep you signed in. Blocking Cloudflare's cookies may mean you are asked to pass a security check more often.

Changes to this policy

When we change what the site or the app stores, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change needs your consent, we will ask before it applies to you.
